“Naturalization Records and What You Can Learn from Them”

Naturalization records can be a rich source of information about our immigrant ancestors. Len Enlow will discuss the history of early naturalization requirements for the United States, the information in the various records that were kept, and where records can be found today. Join us to learn more about Declarations of Intention and Oaths of Allegiance and how to trace your immigrant ancestor’s story.
About the speaker: Len Enlow has been interested in family history for 45 years. A founding member and past president of the Corona Genealogical Society, Len edits and publishes their monthly newsletter, and schedules and teaches many of the classes sponsored by the Society and the Corona Public Library. He received his BSEE from Pennsylvania State University and his MSEE from California State University at Long Beach. He is the author of a technical book and holder of two patents.
