Join us for a short discussion topic before the main monthly meeting.

This month’s topic is: “The Dead and Dying, Part 2 – Funeral Homes and Offices” by Rebecca Whitman Koford (a RootsTech Connect 2021 Video).

Death is a time of loss, but also a time when many records are created. Rebecca Whitman Koford, CG, CGL, will take us through some of the many records created at the time of death or about an ancestor’s passing. We will discuss death certificates, alternative death records, funeral homes, cemetery office records, cemetery memorial iconography, and some tips on recording headstones safely and effectively.
