This month’s topic is: “Front Page News (and Beyond): Finding Archived Newspapers” by Drew Smith (a FamilySearch Video).

This will be a presentation of a video from Family Search.

The stories of our ancestors’ lives, from birth to death and everything in between, can be found in the pages of archived newspapers. In this video, learn how to identify which newspapers might mention your ancestor and how to find out whether they are somewhere online or on microfilm in a library.

Following the video, there may be time for discussion.
